Cylinder Seal Kit BOOM 30x55mm (fits JCB) - GMOVE 231/77408
Complete, OEM quality, main boom cylinder seal kit by GMOVE. This repair kit is designed specifically for JCB mini excavators. It contains precisely matched rod seals, piston seals, wear rings, and wiper seals, which are essential for a comprehensive overhaul of the cylinder responsible for raising and lowering the machine's main boom. By utilizing top-tier elastomers and polyurethanes with high friction resistance, the kit effectively eliminates external leaks and prevents slow arm drift under load.
OEM Quality Standard: These seals are manufactured in compliance with strict dimensional and material standards, identical to JCB's original first-assembly parts. This ensures excellent flexibility, resistance to high hydraulic pressures, and a longer gland service life under demanding operating conditions.

Workshop Tip: The boom cylinder is the most statically loaded component in the entire mini excavator arm structure. Due to the small diameter of the piston rod (30 mm) in older 801 and 801X series models, it is particularly prone to microscopic bending under heavy payloads.
Before proceeding with the installation of the new kit, thoroughly inspect the chromed surface of the piston rod – any longitudinal scratches will act like a file, instantly cutting the lip of the new gland seal. Also remember to gently warm the stiff Teflon (PTFE) rings in warm hydraulic oil before installation. This will increase their flexibility and prevent cracking while stretching them onto the piston.
