A heavy-duty and highly wear-resistant drilled base edge for teeth made of HARDOX 500 steel by the trusted manufacturer GMOVE. This component serves as the main bucket lip, featuring 9 factory-drilled mounting holes designed specifically for the front loader buckets of JCB 4CX backhoe loaders. This specialized hardox blade with dimensions of 2450 mm in length, 200 mm in width, and 20 mm in thickness with a single bevel (1-bevel) forms the mechanical foundation of the bucket structure, where bolt-on adapters and teeth are secured. The application of original Swedish wear-resistant steel with a nominal hardness of 500 HBW drastically increases bucket rigidity, protects the bottom from cracking, and guarantees a significantly longer service life in aggressive working environments (stones, debris, hard ground).

Depending on the variability of manufacturing processes, individual pieces may show slightly higher or lower values, remaining within the expected range around the measured result.
Mounting Tip: The base cutting edge (for teeth) is a structural component that must be welded directly to the bucket shell and side plates. Before starting any welding work, thoroughly align the cutting edge with the bucket structure and protect the bolt holes from accidental weld spatter. Due to the extreme hardness of HARDOX 500 steel and the 20 mm plate thickness, always use multi-layer welding with low-hydrogen wire or electrodes. Once the lip is welded to the bucket, mount the tooth adapters using only new bolts with a hardness rating of at least 10.9.
